Photojournalist Hugo Infante was born in Santiago, Chile.Infante followed an extended career in writing journalism before turning to photography.He held positions in La Tercera – the largest newspaper in Chile with national circulation- as crime reporter, night shift editor, and finally Sunday editor.Hugo Infante has been covering assignments in countries like Iraq, Jordan, Peru, Bolivia, and Argentina. He is represented by Polaris, NY and is the founder of M70 Multimedia and Agencia Stock.
On October 2010 was commisioned by the Chilean Government to document the rescue of the 33 miners.
